The House

The property is located overlooking the Place St Jacques, where the village boules players pass many an hour, affording views beyond to the Pyrenees.
The house is on three levels, accommodating up to six people, with three bedrooms, a south facing lounge leading onto a secluded and sheltered sun terrace, a bathroom and kitchen.

The owner, Neville Paine, is an English artist who exhibits internationally, and the house reflects his touch and distinctive taste.

The Village

The village of Villasavary, quintessentially southern French, is set in one of the least discovered, yet most beautiful parts of France.
An old milling town, Villasavary lies between (and within sight of) the Montagne Noir to the north and the Pyrenees to the south with the cities of Toulouse to the west and mediaevil Carcassonne to the east.
Although situated in a spellbinding rural location on the very edge of the Minervois and Corbieres vineyards, there is easy access to the Mediterranean coast, Andorra and Spain. 		View past the house towards Grand Rue.
The distinctive lounge with the artist's touch everywhere.
